Body Contouring
BodyTite
Minimally invasive radiofrequency body contouring — fat removal and skin tightening together, without the scars of traditional surgery.
Overview
Minimally invasive body contouring after weight loss.
BodyTite is FDA-cleared, minimally invasive radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis. It removes unwanted fat and tightens skin in the same session — with small needle-stick incisions and no large excisions.
How it works
A clear, step-by-step picture.
Local anesthesia
Performed in our surgical suite under local or light sedation.
RF-assisted lipolysis
A small internal probe melts and removes fat while a paired external electrode tightens the overlying skin.
Same-day discharge
Compression garment for a few weeks; most return to desk work within days.
Watch & learn
Watch Dr. Perryman explain BodyTite.
- Fat removal + skin tightening in one session
- Minimally invasive — small punctures, not long incisions
- Local anesthesia, no general anesthetic
- Strong option for post-weight-loss patients
Risks & honest considerations
We’d rather you know the real picture before deciding.
- Bruising and swelling for 2–4 weeks is expected
- Asymmetry is possible and may require touch-up
- Not a replacement for excisional surgery when severe skin excess is present
- Final result develops over 3–6 months — patience required

Common questions, answered honestly.
How is BodyTite different from liposuction?
Standard liposuction removes fat but doesn't address skin laxity. BodyTite removes fat and tightens skin in the same session.
Is it permanent?
Fat cells removed don't return. Maintaining your weight maintains your result.
How much does it cost?
$6,000–$12,000 depending on area count. Not insurance-covered (cosmetic). Financing through CareCredit and PatientFi available.
When will I see final results?
Initial change visible at 1 month. Skin contraction develops over 3–6 months. Final result at 6 months.
How does BodyTite compare to traditional liposuction?
Standard lipo removes fat but doesn't tighten skin — can leave loose skin in older patients or after major weight loss. BodyTite removes fat AND tightens skin in one procedure, scarlessly. The trade-off is BodyTite can't handle severe skin excess where excisional surgery is needed.
How long is recovery before I can work / work out?
Desk work: 2–3 days. Strenuous exercise: 2–3 weeks. Compression garment for 4–6 weeks.
