GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications
Semaglutide, tirzepatide, and the structured program that makes them work — a concierge, physician-led program with personalized care from Dr. Perryman.
Overview
Medically supervised semaglutide and tirzepatide programs — a concierge, physician-led experience.
GLP-1 receptor agonists have transformed medical weight loss. We offer both first-generation (semaglutide) and second-generation (tirzepatide) medications, matched to each patient. This is a concierge, physician-led program — personalized care directly with Dr. Perryman, not a one-size prescription mill. We combine the right medication with the nutrition and behavior coaching that make the results stick.

Risks & honest considerations
We’d rather you know the real picture before deciding.
- GI side effects (nausea, constipation) are common during titration
- Pancreatitis is a rare but recognized risk
- Discontinuation usually leads to weight regain without lifestyle changes
- Gallstones can develop during rapid weight loss
- Ongoing monthly cost — this is a long-term commitment

Common questions, answered honestly.
Will I gain it back if I stop?
Many patients do regain weight after stopping. We focus on a long-term strategy — including the option to taper rather than stop abruptly.
Is it safe to combine with bariatric surgery?
We use GLP-1s pre-surgically in selected high-BMI patients and post-surgically for regain. Always under medical supervision.
How much does the GLP-1 program cost?
Insurance coverage varies wildly. Branded semaglutide (Wegovy) or tirzepatide (Zepbound) cash price is $1,000–$1,300/month — often partially covered with prior authorization. Our compounded program is $400–$600/month depending on dose. Insurance verification is the first step.
What happens if I stop the medication?
Most patients regain weight after stopping unless they've built sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits during the program. We treat GLP-1 as a tool, not a long-term solution.
What are the most common side effects?
Nausea (almost universal in the first 4–6 weeks but manageable with slow titration), constipation, fatigue. Rare but serious: pancreatitis, gallstones during rapid weight loss.
Should I try GLP-1 before considering surgery?
For BMI 27–35 without major comorbidities, yes — GLP-1 is often the right first step. For BMI 40+, or BMI 35+ with diabetes/sleep apnea, surgery generally produces more durable results. We can help you decide.
