Whole Health Weight Loss Institute

Support & Community

You're not doing this alone.

Weight-loss surgery is as much an emotional journey as a physical one. We support the whole person — before, during, and long after surgery.

Section 1

In-person support groups.

We host patient support group meetings here in Napa — a warm, honest space to share what's working, ask the questions you don't want to ask anywhere else, and hear from people a little further down the road. Loved ones are welcome.

Online community

Join our private patient community.

Once you're a Whole Health patient, you're welcome in our private Facebook group — a members-only space to connect with others on the same journey, share wins, and ask questions any time.

Open to current patients.

Section 2

The emotional side of the journey.

It's completely normal to feel a mix of excitement, pride, and adjustment in the months after surgery as your body and habits change. You don't have to navigate any of it alone.

Lean on your care team. Lean on your support group. Lean on the people close to you. And if you'd like extra support, reaching out to a professional is always a good move — strength, not weakness.

Stay connected.

Follow along for patient stories, tips from the team, and the occasional reminder that you're doing better than you think.

This page is general guidance. For real support, your best resources are your care team, the people who love you, and — when you'd like it — a qualified mental-health professional.

Let's talk about your next step.
